Summary of Responsibility:
Reporting to the Production Manager, the Mechanical Assembler assembles pre-picked raw materials into completed assemblies and puts assemblies into designated areas. This individual is also responsible for picking raw material when pre-picking is unavailable or unnecessary for specific components.
This position provides an opportunity in a high growth business in manufacturing with potential for advancement. We are looking for a motivated individual with the ability to successfully operate in a team setting.
What You Will Contribute:
· Review and follow production work orders and associated documentation (e.g., Bills of Materials, schematics, blueprints)
· Complete documentation thoroughly and accurately
· Identify and distinguish raw materials using part numbering systems and store in correct locations
· Communicate effectively with team leaders regarding assembly instructions, workflow adjustments, and scheduling
· Will be required to pass training onsite with forklifts, cranes, baler and compactors at location.
· Properly use hand and powered tools daily and build assemblies in designated areas.
· Properly use precision tools and measuring devices needed per work cell or area.
· Promote safe work practices and maintain a clean, organized work environment
· Adhere to all established safety guidelines and protocols
· Able to lift <50lbs as an individual

Qualifications & Competencies:
· High school diploma or GED required
· Minimum of 1 year of relevant assembly experience
· Ability to read and interpret Bills of Materials (BOM), blueprints, and schematics.
· Understanding of part numbering systems and inventory organization
· Knowledge of quality, health, and safety standards
· High level of mobility to support dynamic production needs
· Ability to operate pallet jacks and other lifting equipment safely and efficiently
· Working knowledge of hand tools and assembly hardware relevant to production tasks
· Understanding of quality, health, and safety standards, with commitment to maintaining compliance

Ability to work in industrial environments, with exposure to noise, lubricants, coolants, metal chips, and other manufacturing conditions, while consistently wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE).
