Summary of Responsibility:
Reporting to the Plant/Manufacturing Manager, the Production Manager plans capacity of personnel and material to meet Customer’s requirements. Verifies and organizes correct production data material for production staff, and coordinates with the Engineering Manager on necessary changes. Also, we must prepare work orders within the inventory system to support building requirements and verify completed order status and in process work.
This position provides an opportunity for a high growth business in manufacturing. We are looking for a motivated individual with the ability to motivate and support production staff, to help improve processes and products.
What You Will Contribute:
- Manage end-to-end production operations, coordinating resources and activities to optimize efficiency and meet output targets.
- Optimize staff allocation to meet fluctuating production demands and scheduling requirements.
- Foster cross-functional collaboration with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Shipping Managers to orchestrate seamless end-to-end production and delivery processes.
- Promote safe work habits and maintain a clean and orderly work environment.
- Provide daily support and clear communication to team members, proactively addressing individual and work cell needs to optimize workflow.
- Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs for production staff; conducted performance evaluations to foster continuous improvement.
- Conduct thorough reviews of completed production work orders to proactively identify bottlenecks and areas for strategic process and product refinement.
- Directed multi-cell production activities, leveraging proactive communication to implement critical changes and optimize inventory flow for expedited turnover.
- Maintain strong organizational culture by implementing effective talent management strategies, including targeted hiring and performance-based adjustments.

Qualifications & Competencies:
- Strong understanding and practical application of Manufacturing Resource Planning (MRP) principles and software, with hands-on experience in Macola and D365
- High School Diploma or GED; 2 years of supplemental education or trade certification.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in a production or manufacturing leadership role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and strong computer skills are essential.
- Proficient in interpreting electrical and mechanical blueprints and schematics.
- Proven ability to effectively juggle multiple priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced technical manufacturing setting.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with all levels of staff, suppliers, and stakeholders.
- Commitment to upholding stringent Quality, and Health and Safety standards within a manufacturing environment.
- Must be able to access all areas of the production environment.
